Social Media For Special People
by Walt Carvalho
I know I have discussed many things dealing either directly or indirectly with the social media phenomenon, which we are witnessing today. We’ve discussed the potential and changes we are all experiencing in communication, whether it be business associations, family reuniting or friendly meet-ups, just to name a few.
The way we share is changing.
Today however, I would like to share a growing movement, which I consider a blessing.
For many years, the special people in our world and those who love and care for them, have lived a life separate from others. Information for them was hard to find and experiences were left as ones own. The awesome loving parents of children of special needs are now finding new avenues of sharing with others of similar needs. They are able to discuss issues they share and ideas to help them accomplish tasks easier on a daily basis.
Twitter, facebook, blogs, meet-up sites and special need websites are popping up to help this special community, with their needs and the enrichment of the lives they share.
Thank you, to all that care. I also have a special thanks to the unselfish and loving parents, friends and family of those wonderful people, which we call special, because that is what they are.
You inspire me with your dedication and love.
God bless the Special Families!
